Q: What changes are you planning to make for early access?
A: I would like to make the following changes
  • Giving every starting faction a unique mission tree and mechanic or ship line
  • Making the game more interesting and engaging. Improving things like graphics and AI.
  • fixing bugs (obviously)
  • Adding custom scenario editor
  • Probably getting rid of the current missions systems and replacing the Victory condition with something more interesting and substatial than just "highest points wins"
Q: How long will you work on this game?
A: Over the course of a year or so from Early Access release. I will work on it regardless of interest
Q: Why does this game have no internet presence besides one reddit post?
A: I'm pretty much just doing this for fun. That said, I may release a free demo at some later point.

Possible Features In Later Versions

These are not guaranteed whatsoever, just examples of ideas I have

  • In-game Map Creator allowing you to make custom maps then upload them to Steam Workshop
  • In addition to the map creator, a technology, building, ship, and ruleset editor to facilitate overhaul mods
  • "Challenge Mode" where players can play on custom rulesets like "no mines" or "no planets" for achievements
  • Pirate battles
  • More espionage options
  • Statistics tab that tracks player stats over time
  • An aftergame with an extended tech tree where you play in Andromeda or fight aliens
  • Expanded executive actions including 'policies' which drain executive power over time
